Hi, I’m Sarah Heddell.

I am the proud owner of 2 Check Electric. I moved to Upstate New York in 2009 after finishing high school on Long Island and fell in love with this community. I love the outdoors, and the Adirondacks checks (pun intended) all the boxes. In many ways, I feel that I grew up here. (This is home).

I went through the electrical training apprenticeship program right here in Albany with Local Union 236. Because my training happened locally I have experience working in facilities/buildings that serve the local area and I’m honored to offer a more grassroots approach by bringing those skills into the homes and businesses of my community members.

In early 2021 I took my trade on the road and headed west. I had opportunities to work in beautiful places like Montana, Washington, Utah, and many others. The long hours and aggressive schedules of those projects fostered a sense of community among trade workers, an experience that I will never forget. When the desire to come home outweighed the adventure I knew it was time to create the change I wanted to see in my industry.

Along side high quality installations and customer experience I deeply value work-life balance and employee satisfaction. I want to create work experiences that have a positive impact on everyone involved. With this in mind, we thoughtfully schedule jobs so that every customer is receiving the best care possible while also creating space for balance in the lives of those that work at 2 Check Electric.

I look forward to hearing from you and helping with your electrical needs.
